Got Rhythm?

V maju 2018 je Godalni kvartet Corcoras pri založbi Celinka izdal svojo prvo zgoščenko z naslovom Got Rhythm?. Album poleg izvirne glasbe člana kvarteta Marijan Dovića vsebuje tudi godalno mojstrovino Astorja Piazzolle Four, for Tango, napisano za legendarni Kronos Quartet, zaključi pa se s ciklom glasbe velikega jazzovskega skladatelja Georgea Gershwina.

In may 2018, Corcoras String Quartet has published its first CD (Celinka) titled Got Rhythm?. The album features original music by a quartet member Marijan Dović, a string masterpiece by Astor Piazzolla Four, for Tango, originally written for the famous Kronos Quartet, and finishes with a cycle of music by the great jazz composer George Gershwin.

The fluent string playing of the Corcoras quartet features original improvisation and inventive arrangements that subtly flow from classical to jazzy atmospheres. Rhythmic patterns are used with great imagination, brilliantly substituting for percussion.
